december 2008... As a Christmas gift to all our Producers & Artisans (and to celebrate Chris' birthday!) we held a raffle at Alexandra Palace and Dulwich Farmers' Markets on 21st December. A member of the public was chosen at random to pick out two producer and two artisan names from a hat - the lucky few received a space at the market free of charge plus those who drew the raffle received a goodie bag with selected fresh produce from the market to enjoy! |

may 2009 Our first new market of 2009 opened in Westerham on 31st May. The weather was glorious and lots of locals turned up to support us... all in all the market was a great success! The market will be held every Sunday from now on in the grounds of the Grasshopper Inn on Westerham Road - please see the Westerham page for more info. Thanks to all our producers, the good people at The Grasshopper and of course all the Westerham residents for making this market possible... and here's to its continued success! |
june 2009 On Saturday 6th June our new weekly Farmers' Market in Maple Road Penge, South East London, was opened... by the town crier! Depsite the continual rain, the locals came out in force to support the market and it was a very successful day! We are sure the market will bring a much needed boost to the area, already there is a real buzz from residents about this new venture - particularly as there is nowhere locally to buy the fresh, local produce they have been in need of. It will also provide a perfect meeting point for the community. |

september 2009 The launch of our new Farmers' Market at Coolings 'Green & Pleasant' went without a hitch... everyone had a lovely day... the weather was gorgeous and all the locals came out in force to support us. Coolings told us their takings were nearly double those they would take on an average Saturday and all our producers did extremely well! Long may it continue! Here's hoping our newest market in Greenwich enjoys the same success... |
